BAS is due soon!
Quarterly statements are due on the 28th of April giving you just over a week to get your ducks in a row. Yes, I know, we all hate BAS but hopefully these duckies make it a little more bearable. Cute aren't they?

Here are some places to get support for your BAS:
There was a change to Fuel tax rates on the 30 March 2022, you can head to the ATO and use their calculator to get the most from your claim - https://www.ato.gov.au/Calculators-and-tools/Fuel-tax-credit-tools/
Did you know even when you have 0 to report, you still need to lodge BAS as 'nil'? If you have a 'nil' BAS you can report as normal or you can report over the phone by calling 13 72 26.
Is your business undergoing difficult times? There is support available to support you getting more time and with financial assistance - https://www.ato.gov.au/general/support-in-difficult-times/
You can lodge online, through a tax or BAS agent, or by mail.
If you lodge online, you can register to receive an extra 2 weeks time to lodge your BAS - https://www.ato.gov.au/General/Online-services/In-detail/Two-week-lodgment-concession---terms-and-conditions/
Here is information on how to lodge online for sole traders - https://www.ato.gov.au/General/Online-services/In-detail/Lodging-your-activity-statement-online/
And here is information on how to lodge online for businesses - https://www.ato.gov.au/General/Online-services/Businesses/
The Tax Practitioners Board has a list of registered tax agents so you can assure you have chosen someone licensed - https://www.tpb.gov.au/registrations_search
If you misplace your paid envelope, the address is:
Australian Taxation Office
Locked Bag 1936
Albury NSW 1936
You can request a replacement by calling 13 28 66.
I hope these links to extra support services will help you get through BAS time. If not, here is another cute duck.
